ELM Electromontaj Cluj S.A. has committed to applying the best workplace practices and to complying with all legal requirements regarding environmental protection. Through the activities it carries out, it promotes a cleaner environment by continuously improving its environmental performance, with an emphasis on prevention. ELM Electromontaj Cluj S.A. has contracts with authorised operators for meeting the objectives of waste collection, recovery and recycling. An environmental management system is implemented and certified, in accordance with the requirements of the SR EN ISO 14001:2015 standard.

In 2022, no notifications or complaints from interested parties regarding environmental protection were recorded. The activities carried out on the site are conducted under the environmental permit and have a low impact on the environment.

During the inspections carried out by the representatives of the environmental authorities throughout 2022, it was found that the activities performed comply with the provisions of the environmental permit under which they operate and with the legal environmental provisions, no penalty being applied.
