2.1 . Cookies according to lifetime

1. a) Session cookies

These are temporarily stored in the web browser's cookie folder so that the browser remembers them until the user leaves the respective website or closes the browser window (e.g. when logging in to/out of a webmail account or on social networks).

1. b) Persistent cookies

These are stored on the hard drive of a computer or equipment (and generally depend on the cookie's preset lifetime). Persistent cookies also include those placed by a website other than the one the User is visiting at that time - known as "third party cookies" - which can be used anonymously to remember a User's interests so that advertising as relevant as possible is delivered to Users.

2.2. Cookies according to their role

In general, data about internet browsing activity is collected and analysed anonymously. If this analysis reveals a specific interest, a cookie (a small text file used by most sites to store certain pieces of information useful for making the browsing experience better) is placed on the User's computer and this cookie determines which advertisement the user will receive, which is called interest-based advertising.

Interest-based advertising is a way of delivering ads on the websites you visit and making them more relevant to your interests. Common interests are grouped according to previously conducted browsing activity, and users are served only advertising that matches their interests. In this way, advertising is relevant to the User's interests.
