In IRAN, ELM Electromontaj Cluj built over 2800 km of 63 kV-132 km power lines and 230 km of single- and double-circuit lines in four major regions - KHUZESTAN AREA, NORTH-EST AREA, AZERBAIDJAN AREA and KURDISTAN AREA. The line routes crossed mountainous areas, desert, irrigated and cultivated areas.

Within these projects, our company provided technical solutions for a series of problems related to the difficult terrain and climate of the area, as well as the calculation of dimensioning for severe conditions such as: low temperatures (-40°C), wind speeds of up to 175 km/h and rime ice of up to 8 kg per linear meter of conductor.

The projects carried out in Iran complied with American, English, German and IEC (Institutional Electrotechnical Commission Standards) standards.
