400 kV OHL Porțile de Fier - Slatina

The work is part of the project to close Romania's 400 kV Ring in the south-western area and represents a major investment for Romania, playing an essential role both for the country's energy security and for the development of the local economy.

The interventions took place mainly in the Porțile de Fier area, with crossings over the railway and over the national road; therefore additional safety operations were required, and the pace of execution was constrained by the traffic in the area as well as by the train schedule (the works being possible only when the railway line is de-energised).
