ELM Electromontaj Cluj teams have also carried out projects in Malaysia, specifically building a 132 kV double-circuit overhead power line with 2 conductors per phase. The route crossed jungle, rubber and rice plantations, and this project did not lack challenges. As part of the project, pile foundations were carried out as special works.

The projects carried out in Malaysia complied with the requirements of the standards and those of the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission).
