ELM Electromontaj Cluj has also developed its activity in Nigeria, where it took part in the rehabilitation of a 132/33 kV transformer substation.

It subsequently began a large-scale project, the construction of a 330 kV OHL, single and double circuit, 380 km long, between the Gombe-Yola-Jalingo transformer substations. The line is equipped with (OPGW) and composite insulators, incorporating the highest international technologies and complying with American and British standards.
