Epine tunnel equipment renovation, France

ELM Electromontaj carried out electrification works for the Epine tunnel, Autoroute A 43, with a length of 3.2 km, consisting of: installing supports and cable trays, laying cables, installing lighting boxes and lighting fixtures.

The works were carried out as a subcontractor of Cegelec, which completely renovated all the equipment of the EPINE tunnel, the client being Societe des Autoroutes Rhône-Alpes.

The Epine tunnel, located between Lyon and Chambery, is a major hub for winter holiday traffic.
