Renovation of the SEINE AVAL Wastewater Treatment Plant, France

The teams of ELM Electromontaj Cluj took part in the renovation of the SEINE AVAL Treatment Plant, a historic wastewater treatment site in Paris, the plant being the largest and most modern treatment plant in Europe.

ELM Electromontaj Cluj carried out the cabling, connection, testing and commissioning of the power and automation systems.

The works carried out by our colleagues include the following:

- jointing the new 20 kV cables with the old 20 kV cables to complete the medium-voltage loops in the new 20 kV - 140 MW switching station;

- creating the lighting system in all processing units;

- connecting the motors that drive the turbo blowers to the 6 kV network and integrating them into the general automation system;

- making electrical connections in the 0.4 kV power and automation cabinets;

- connecting and wiring the motors for the pumps and their associated sensors;

- connecting hundreds of actuators and process sensors.
