Refurbishment and remote control Pajura Station
An extremely important project for the national energy infrastructure is "Retrofitting and remote control of the Pajura substation".
Carrying out this project brought multiple benefits not only to the energy system but also to the local community. The development of the area and the increase in energy consumption drove the start of the substation modernisation works.
After substantial investments in the modernisation of the Pajura electrical substation, it now allows effective remote management by specialised staff. The substation's capacity was increased by installing two additional 25 MVA transformers, in addition to the two already existing, each with a capacity of 40 MVA. Also, for optimal operation, the 20 kV voltage level was introduced, which allows a safe increase in the consumption of the customers served as well as the connection of new consumers in the area.
The works carried out within the project were complex and required a great deal of precision and attention from our execution teams.
