Modernization of the 110/20 kV BLEJEȘTI transformer substation

The work consisted of replacing the 110 kV and 20 kV primary and secondary circuit equipment, reusing the existing supports. The command and control system of the entire substation was replaced, implementing a high-performance SCADA-type remote-control system. The complexity of the work lay in the difficulty of organizing the execution, given that the substation remained in operation throughout the entire duration of the works. In addition, in order to reuse the existing concrete supports and beams in the substation, they were repaired using carbon fibre and a range of special resins and cements, owing to their high degree of degradation.
