Nadăș station
The 110/20/10 kV Nadăş transformer substation was commissioned in 1978 and supplies the 10 and 20 kV electricity distribution network in the city of Cluj-Napoca, the main beneficiaries being residential, commercial and industrial consumers.
The project consisted of DDE and AS BUILT design, replacement of the medium-voltage cells with new cells - 26 MOD 24 cells, modernization of 3 110 kV cells (2 transformer cells and 1 coupling cell), and replacement of the protection and internal services cabinets with cabinets manufactured by EnergoBit.
The modernization works include:
• replacement primary equipment - 110 kV (disconnectors, switchgear, power transformers, voltage transformers, surge arresters);
• fitting out a 110 kV transformer cell in the open space and installing a 110/20 kV transformer;
• replacement of the 110 kV busbar;
• modernization of the transformer cell protections;
• modernization of the general signalling system;
• installation of two resistor treatment sets - one of 10 kV, the other of 20 kV;
• integration of the designed equipment into the existing SCADA control system;
• replacement of the medium-voltage cells in the connection substation, both at 10 kV and at 20 kV;
• modernization of the automation installations at the substation level (m.v. automatic reserve switching, D.R.R.I., D.A.S.-f);
• modernization of the DC and AC auxiliary services;
• completion of the lightning protection installation;
• modernization of the indoor and outdoor lighting installation;
• construction works (foundations, cable ducts, substation building);
At this moment, our colleagues are working on equipping the 110 kV transformer cell and building the 2 neutral sets.
The works are complex, but our colleagues are ready to continue responding with enthusiasm and professionalism in order to complete the project successfully.
