Rahman station
The 400/110/30 kV Rahman Substation
ELM Electromontaj Cluj built the 400/110/30 kV Rahman substation, which is located in the Tulcea area, within the administrative territory of the communes of Topolog - Casimcea - Daeni. The work was financed from sources provided by investors.
The substation connects a wind farm to the national power transmission grid, while also contributing to energy efficiency and to increasing the security of the power transmission system.
The 400/110/30 kV Rahman substation was made up of:
- the Rahman 400 kV substation and the 400 kV overhead-line connection, carried out under a connection tariff and transferred into the ownership of Transelectrica;
- the Rahman 110/30 kV substation, including the 400/110 kV transformer units, whose beneficiary is a consortium under the coordination of the Verbund company from Austria (Alpha Wind SRL, Beta Wind SRL, CAS Regenerabile SRL and Land Power SRL).
Each of the two substations is independent, with its own technological installations, control building and auxiliary installations.
The new 400 kV substation is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment: switchgear, power transformers, control and protection equipment, as well as a substation automation system.
